The New London Public Library is governed by a Board of Trustees which operates in accordance with and by virtue of the provisions of Chapter 3375 of the Ohio Revised Code.
Among the duties and responsibilities of the Library Board of Trustees is to appoint a qualified library Director who is the executive and administrative officer of the library, and a Fiscal Officer who receives and disburses all monies and assists the director and the Trustees in preparing a yearly budget and appropriation measures. The Trustees also, in cooperation with the Director, create guidelines and policies affecting the operation of the library.
